Don't they need a doctor to sign off?

Somebody is in big trouble!

So there is a lawyer involved now. Are they going to sue the funeral home for not embalming their daughter?+ is suppose they could and get a lot of money from it as well as having the daughter back.

Attorney Geoffrey Fieger, who has been hired by Timesha Beauchamp's family.
He was Dr. Kevorkian's attorney. Why does he care all of a sudden?

The fact that her body wasn’t getting cold didn’t set-off an alarm for these people?

Sounds like an Edgar Allan Poe short story.

Wondering if the funeral home is going to charge full price. Or if the ghouls will rip up the bill.

She’s lucky the coroner didn’t start an autopsy.

Now, I guess we’ll have to start having wakes again.

This is one reason I am afraid to be an organ donor! I suppose she wasn’t or she’d be dead. Did they already send her mail in ballot?

Too bad for Democrats. They were counting on her vote this November. LOL

This is a crazy nightmare story. I am not a doctor, but having had it done many times I know it only takes a minute to hook up an EKG, where they obviously would have seen a heartbeat on the readout.

A local emergency department physician pronounced the patient deceased based upon medical information provided by the Southfield Fire Department at the scene. After which, the Southfield Police Department contacted the Oakland County Medical Examiners Office to notify them of the findings and the on-duty forensic pathologist released the body to the family. The Southfield Fire and Police Departments followed all appropriate city, county and state protocols and procedures in this case. Doctor did not personally see the woman. He signed off on her being dead based on what the first responders told him. He is in trouble.
