A man claims that when he was 11 in the '70s, Ellen DeGeneres, then in her 20s, would call him names and bully and fat-shame him when she worked as a recruiter in New Orleans.(snip)

Gravolet says the comedian was "was just the meanest, nastiest, most horrible person."
He told "Daily Mail TV": "One incident stands out in my mind. I was sitting beside her desk. I was drawing, and she criticized the drawings. She said 'I guess that would look nice if you could draw.' "
Gravolet continued:
"It appears to me that she hoards power over those that are lesser than her. It's almost as if she has to feel controlling. It seems like she has to be superior, be better."
"I would dread going to [my mom's] office to see her after school or on a day if I was sick and Ellen was there," Gravolet said.
Gravolet called her "vile":
"As I watched her meteoric rise to fame, people would say how great she was and all I could think was she must be an incredible actor because she was one of the most vile people I've ever met in my life. Who takes pleasure in giving a child pain?' "(snip)
"She would criticize my weight. I would try to do homework in the office, she'd call me stupid, she'd call me fat. She would criticize my clothes.
I was just a boy and this was a grown woman who took pleasure in seeing me become visibly upset."

So why is Ellen being singled out? Because she was nice to Dubya? It seems that then is when this started.

I was fat at 13, went back to school after summer and found the girls had grown some things I found interesting and I lost that fat PDQ
Now, I’m in my 50’s and weigh the same. Thing is, I’m going to Elvis on this fat and lose it again PDQ.
Can’t deny the women out there anymore of my affections...

The 70s? Uh, oh. I’m pretty sure the parking meter went into “expired” back then just as I was getting into the car. Are they after me now? Long memories for any imperfect act long ago.
