I saw the before and after. There’s no comparison because the tulips etc. only last a couple of weeks then they will be gone until next year. The various roses will probably rebloom all season. I started to read the study done by multiple experts but didn’t finish it. Anyway, the Rose Garden has changed many times over the years. I don’t know why Eichenwald got his shorts in a wad.
The picture with the color tulips was taken in early spring. Typically, tulips bloom for only two to three weeks. The picture on the right was taken in late summer. A fair comparison of before and after should be photos taken at the same time of year.
That oasis of color are tulips that last about 2 seconds and then become an oasis of DEAD tulips!!!
