Following the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention, rapper Ice Cube took to Twitter to remind his followers that the Democratic Party failed to explain how they would help the black community. Instead of instantly giving a vote to those with a 'D' behind their name, Ice Cube said politicians have to "earn the vote" from members of the black community.
"What I didn't hear is, what's in it for us? What's in it for the black community besides the same ol' thang we've been getting from these parties?" he asked. "What's in it for us, for real?"
Instead of providing any policy proposals, the Democrats are focused on ousting President Donald Trump. According to the rapper, Democrats haven't thought much beyond that, especially on the policy front, something former Bernie Sanders spokeswoman took issue with as well.
"The way it look, they don't have a plan. Everybody's talking about 'Get Trump out. Get Trump out. Get Trump out.' If you vote, that's going to happen on the first day. So now what?" the rapper asked rhetorically. "Trump out, now what? What? What do we get on the first 100 days? That's what we're trying to figure out. What. Do. We. Actually get that we, that they could give us overnight?"
Ice Cube chided Congress for "pulling $3 trillion out they a**" as part of the Wuhan coronavirus stimulus relief package (although it's actually $2 trillion) that went to the majority of Americans. Despite the stimulus, he said "42 percent of black businesses closing."
The rapper took issue with the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, which was designed to provide relief to small businesses across the nation. Instead, some places, like Planned Parenthood, Harvard and even a law firm Biden founded, received funding as part of the program.
"None of that moneywheres our f***ing bailout? Wheres the bailout, not the PPP loan that they didnt give us? Wheres the bailout? he asked. I dont wanna hear about deficit. I dont wanna hear about what our generation is going to have to pay. Because if we dont have s**t, they aint going to have s**t anyway to pay nothing. So we gotta start something right now.
Recommended Durham Questioned Brennan for Eight Hours. Here's What We Know. Bronson Stocking Democrats dont seem like they got a plan, Republicans dont seem like they got a plan for us. So how the hell are you going to vote for them? Make them earn that vote. They can start today. They aint got it yet. They can start today. Make their a** earn that vote, man. Stop playing with these people and theyll stop playing with you," Ice Cube said.
I love the way he says "we" and "us" when referring to the black community as a whole as if he is living in "the hood" and lives the day to day existence of most black people in the inner city.
He has been a multi-millionaire for most of his adult life and does not live anywhere near "the community".
If anyone from "the hood" showed up anywhere near his palatial estate, his security staff would have them 'disappeared'.
All of this "man of the people" bluster is simply his way of showing that he still 'keeps it real' in order to prevent the barbarians from storming his gates en masse.
The Old White Democrats trick Blacks into voting for them, Sandy then deliver nothing every election. When will they learn that the Democrats are scam artists? They “plead with minorities and special interest groups to vote for them, and then deliver nothing year after year after year
He is saying this because rank-and-file blacks have woken up to the scam. He wants the Dems to continue to pander to the "black community" to keep them down and broken.
Notice that he and other rappers WERE SILENT during the Obama years, when Obama did nothing for blacks (and he shouldn't - it's time to stop treating blacks as some preferred group, but you get my point). Obama did nothing for blacks, and people like Cube didn't care because they were still getting paid and fed.
Not only that, he denigrated Koreans and white girls too. Wrote a song about white women being "cavebitches." Imagine the outrage if a country or rock star said derogatory comments about black women.
It helps to have businesses not located in Democrat-run inner cities that are subject to rioting, looting and arson. OR, another idea - you could recommend to black people to demand safe streets, lower taxes, and less government regulation from the Leftist drones they constantly vote for.
Ever think of that, Mr. Cube?
Malcom X quote from 1963 speech:
The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros, and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have.
If the Negro wasnt taken, tricked, or deceived by the white liberal then Negros would get together and solve our own problems. I only cite these things to show you that in America the history of the white liberal has been nothing but a series of trickery designed to make Negros think that the white liberal was going to solve our problems.”
It is encouraging that he recognizes the Democrats for what they are, but he obviously thinks the way out is more government handouts.
He should remember something Dan Bongino says a lot: “The Republicans may not be your answer to a lot of your problems, but the Democrats are definitely the cause of them.”
His older brother Rubiks is extremely proud of him.
Where was he 2017-2019 when black unemployment was at an all-time low, when black business start-ups were booming, when black income was booming, when criminal justice reforms were being made, all thanks to PDJT? Oh right, he was likely out there bitching with his peeps about how the man was keepin' 'em all down.

Observations I tend to agree with. Would be nice if he changed. Few indeed, but some do.... Not holding my breath though.
What flavour slurpee would you like?

Rapper Ice Cube - here’s what you’ll get from democrats:
1. Hundreds of thousands of new Illegals flooding into your community willing to ‘work under the table’ and taking entry level jobs that would have gone to people in your community..
2. More non-profits to ‘help’ the black community. Elijah Cummings brought home the bacon to his Baltimore district... over $25,000 for every man, woman and child living in the hellhole... the money did NOT go to black residents, it went to ‘non-profit agencies run by friends and contributors... When black citizens were asked about it - they were amazed.
3. More promises - the same ones the democrat party had been feeding the black community for the past 30 years. None of the promises will be kept. They never are...
4. A few new ‘community centers’ named after MLK that will hire 30 black women and two black men as custodians...
5. A movement to defund the police - making black communities more violent and hopeless than they are now...
WORD.
...but he is still wrong.
I’m glad he’s questioning the Democrat plantation, the expectation that you’d better vote Democrat. However, his response is still “who will give us the most stuff?”. That will always be Democrats. Republicans must never start making promises because they’ll always be out bid by “free stuff” from the D’s.
He still doesn’t realize that all of the D programs are *designed* to keep them exactly where they’re at. They’re given enough “free stuff” to keep them alive and existing but this also drains most of any aspiration for better. Their communities will always be experiencing the consequences of low standards. Ghetto streets, drug use, crime, etc. - until they realize that they’re being held in that reality by these policies then they’ll never ascend upward to higher standards of living...because it requires bettering yourself every day.
Until the realization of having LESS “free stuff” will motivate more people to “get out of the ghetto” then they’re just making the same old demands, based on race.
You can’t be truly free if you’re constantly having things provided to you by government. The politicians will always play games around “the threat of things being taken away”. If you don’t receive anything from the government then, and only then, does this threat not carry any weight. It loses its power.
At the end of the day, you’ll only succeed on your own, not through government. He still doesn’t seem to realize this. ...sure, if black people stop voting D in droves then it’s at least a good start.
