Systemic Racism

Posted on 08/22/2020 5:17:31 PM PDT by LjubivojeRadosavljevic

Can someone explain to me what "Systemic Racism means"? I ask this because it seems to me that it means more to 'Black Lives Matters', than it does to me.

When you want to call the society racist but have insufficient evidence of any specific sort, you pin it on the vaguely defined “system.”

‘Systemic racism’ in Chicago is when you have a black, lesbian Mayor, a black police commissioner, a black female - and gutless - county prosecutor, and a black lesbian county chairman, yet can still blame whitey for your own lack of leadership skills.

Additionally since Marxists want to instill their own system they, as Marxists are want to do, attack any system in their way. So calling the capitalist system racist serves to discredit capitalism and has the added benefit to Marxists in that there is a large group of people willing to buy racism is bad and can be mobilized to stamp it out. That is why BLM and Antifa attack capitalist institutions like high end stores and court houses. Liberal politicians are afraid of being called racists so they sit on their hands and let this go on. The longer this goes on the harder it is going to get under control.

“Structural racism” and “systemic racism” are meaningless phrases, like “a fart in the wind”.

If you’re white your racist. It doesn’t matter what you do you will always be racist.

I don't know but it apparently didn't exist during the soetoro / biden regime or I'm sure we would have heard about it.

Maybe because of historically low black unemployment for 2 years under PDJT?

They're pissed off because he made them work?/sarc

All of this is rooted in Marxist rhetoric. The claim is that those who gave acquired wealth and status did it unjustly. No evidence of malfeasance is necessary. There is no due process of law, only envy and a desire to take what they did not earn.

It’s how Sociologists explaIn the continued wealth gaps and differences in incarceration rates we see among racial groups, The only “explanation” that makes sense to them is there must be inherent widespread racism by whites and police abuses, Economists and conservatives think the explanation is not racism, but the destruction of the nuclear family that the Welfare State incentivized to occur. In the early 1900s before Johnson’s Great Society programs, poverty rates were falling in urban and minority communities. Minorities were upwardly mobile, bought private unemployment insurance in large majorities, and formed mutual aid societies for health care services.

The Welfare State reversed that trend.....

These are important issues and we need to solve them - but the Left thinks there is only “one” explanation. They won’t even let us talk. They threaten and silence anyone who has another theory of what’s happening.

They’re freaking ignorant cry bullies.

Hope this helps.

Per this website:

"Systemic racism includes the complex array of antiblack practices, the unjustly gained political-economic power of whites, the continuing economic and other resource inequalities along racial lines, and the white racist ideologies and attitudes created to maintain and rationalize white privilege and power. Systemic here means that the core racist realities are manifested in each of society’s major parts [...] each major part of U.S. society—the economy, politics, education, religion, the family—reflects the fundamental reality of systemic racism."

Now, let us try to imagine this concept, by applying this framework to us Deplorables and the people aligned against us, who I'll call Liberals.

"Systemic anti-Deplorablism includes the complex array of anti-Deplorable practices, the unjustly gained political-economic power of Liberals, the continuing economic and other resource inequalities along political lines, and the Liberal ideologies and attitudes created to maintain and rationalize Liberal privilege and power. Systemic here means that the core Liberal realities are manifested in each of society’s major parts [...] each major part of U.S. society—the economy, politics, education, religion, the family—reflects the fundamental reality of systemic Liberalism."

Within this context, I find it a little easier to understand what they mean by "Systemic Racism." Let us consider colleges and universities, where Systemic Anti-Deplorablism is palpable, even though there are alleged policies and procedures that preach 'equality.' Deplorable/conservative/normal students certainly face a complex array of anti-Deplorable practices which spring from a network of liberals in high places who protect each other. Resource inequalities include the funneling of research dollars away from conservative professors and toward liberal professors, and the granting of tenure to liberal professors. Then, liberal students get away with murder while Deplorable students are exposed and chastised and have their charters pulled, which reinforce liberal ideologies and attitudes created to maintain and rationalize Liberal privilege and power.

Could someone also explain this to the Nigerian and Ghanian immigrants who have been so successful and prosperous in the USA?

Those guys clearly don’t understand the racist nature of the country they have moved to.

Systemic racism is when discriminatory practices are not just acts of a single person or business but are codified into law. Think Jim Crow. Just about every rule in Jim Crow is systemic racism because it actually keeps the target down by making it against the law for them to excercise their rights. Interestingly, in the deep south during this time, a great many people were against the discrimination and unfair practices such as prohibited marriage, back of the bus, poll taxes, red lining, separate drinking fountains, I could go on. Since the laws were created by democrats and enforced by the democrat KKK, whites who were fighting for blacks were intimidated, beaten, and (yes) lynched in great numbers. It was dangerous for both white people and black people to fight for black rights because not only did they have the antifa of their time terrorizing people, but it was systemic because not only was your life threatened, but all of the above and more was written into law. So, if you wanted to let blacks eat at your counter, if the democrat KKK didn’t outright kill you and your family, the police could throw you in prison
