Kevin Costner: 'Criminal' Trump ‘Spits on 200 Years of Freedom’

Hollywood actor Kevin Costner is accusing President Donald Trump of being a "criminal" due to his refusal to throw BILLIONS of dollars in funding to the United States Postal Service (USPS).

“It’s terrible. It’s terrible,” Costner proclaimed during an interview with The Daily Beast. “Nothing is surreal. Everything is highly real, and it’s dangerous. And it’s shameful.”

The 65-year-old declared that Trump is breaking the law and undermining democracy. Funnily enough, he never specifies what law is being broken by the president. Perhaps because there isn't any.

"History will judge you," he said. "When you look back at [Joseph] McCarthy, when you look back at black-and-white footage and see people who were beating on those who were marching for freedom, you don’t want to be that person. And there’s a lot of people where, when you look back ten years, they’re going to see themselves."

Costner continued, "What you have to try to lean on is that every four years we get to decide whether we’re going in the right direction or we’re not. And we now, because of the way the country is set up, which is beautiful, we have that opportunity. And anyone who would interfere with that process in a deliberate way to have an outcome, that’s criminal. And it spits on 200 years of freedom."

While I am not saying he did a lousy job in “Field of Dreams”, but I’ve wondered if he might have been that bit young for the Ray Kinsella role since he would have been only in his mid teens by the end of the 1960s. I would not have minded seeing John Ritter (RIP) or Bill Murray or even William Hurt in that role.

It’s too bad that the average citizen can’t get an automatic deposit of $5 every time a celebrity sounds off on what a racist/fascist/ criminal/ sexist/homophobe/ xenophobe/etc. Trump is and how he’s destroying the country. We would all be quite well off.

Will ever a single day pass when one of those leftist libtards doesn’t get an opportunity to jack his jaws in front of a microphone?

No more movies.

Let Hollywood die and rot, unless fire or the Big One gets it first.

I didn’t either. I always like the guy until now.

“ when you look back at black-and-white footage and see people who were beating on those who were marching for freedom, you don’t want to be that person.”

Ol’ Kevbo needs a history lesson. He needs to know that his party was and still is the party of racism. They founded the KKK, terrorized blacks, filibustered and voted against the civil rights act, turned dogs and water cannons on blacks, went to great links to keep them segregated. They are the party of black genocide. Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood with one goal: to kill unborn black babies. Evidently Hitler was a big fan of her eugenics program as he adopted parts of it to exterminate European Jews. The list goes on but you guys get the drift.

“...Trump’s refusal to throw BILLIONS of dollars in funding to the United States Postal Service (USPS).”

Last I heard the Congress passes funding bills. Though I disapprove, Trump’s US Treasury Dept. has offered to loan the USPS $10 billion. Structural obsolescence, unions, preferential hiring, bad management, and very generous benefits will not fix themselves by throwing the USPS more money.

What else can this man do except spew the Communist's line to beg Hollywood for a job?

Who would trust what an actor and actress ever said when their livelihood is based on saying what others pay them to say?

I don't understand why someone would listen to what an actor or actress says about a product they endorse knowing they'll say (or do) anything for money?

Then again, maybe a large number of television commercial viewers have low enough self-esteem to believe something like a compliment from a prostitute.

Anthony Hopkins on Why He Doesn’t Talk About Politics: ‘Actors Are Pretty Stupid’!!!

In a conversation with fellow actor Brad Pitt for a lengthy chat for Interview magazine, Anthony Hopkins explained why he seldom — actually: never — talks about politics... and why he’s not a big fan of other actors talking about politics either. In short: “Actors are pretty stupid.”

“People ask me questions about present situations in life, and I say, ‘I don’t know, I’m just an actor,’” Hopkins told Pitt. “ I don’t have any opinions. Actors are pretty stupid. My opinion is not worth anything. There’s no controversy for me, so don’t engage me in it, because I’m not going to participate.”

“There seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where dumb entertainers like former Actors aka “has beens!” and former professional athletes aka dumb jocks, were mistaken for people of importance.”

They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously — after all, if an athlete/entertainer is paid a million or more a year, he/she knows he/she is important … so his/her opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he/she proves themself to be both ignorant and sub literate every time he/she opens their mouth. (Most of his/her fans were just as ignorant and unlettered; the disease was spreading.)”

I never like this dude.

He had a weird convex face and was always so lame. What a lousy Robin Hood.

That PC Dances with Wolves and Field of Dreams didn’t help his case with me either.
