Jim Herman is the central person in another Trump kindness, encouragement and support feel-good story. In his younger years, Herman tried to play professional golf with very little success on minor tours. He became an assistant golf pro at Trump’s club in Bedminster NJ. This is where Trump set up his transition team after Rogers told him about the unmasking and other strange happenings under Obama and now goes on some weekends.

Herman and Trump sometimes played together there. Trump thought that Herman should give the PGA Tour one more try. He encouraged and backed Herman in his attempt. Amazingly Herman, now in his forties, has three PGA Tour wins, one each in 2016, 2018 and 2020. He is living his dream and has also made several million dollars.
