AOC's idea to save USPS: 'Progressive pen pal program'
Fox News ^ | 8/18/2020 | Ronn Blitzer

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., proposed a new idea for pumping money into the U.S. Postal Service ahead of November's election -- which is expected to see a rise in mailed ballots -- by encouraging people to purchase more stamps.

In an Instagram video, the first-term congresswoman suggested a letter-writing campaign for progressives -- not to public officials, however, but to each other.

I wonder how many of her followers learned how to write a “proper” letter in school.

What Progressives learned was to always work in at least 3 F-bombs before the end of the first paragraph.

For my part, I try to buy as few stamps as possible; usually just enough for bills I have to mail. My letter writing is e-mail as much as possible. I pay as much for that as about 3-1/2 books of stamps each month anyway, so I need to get my moneys worth. I remember that remark from Sheryl Crowe about the toilet paper. Wouldn’t work.

She did not earn a degree in ECONOMICS. This is a lie that was spread by the mainstream media to try and make her appear more intelligent.
She has a BA in International Relations. She took some economics classes.

I have read that Wikipedia post too. Do not believe it. It is wrong. It is propaganda to make he appear more intelligent than she actually is. According to Boston University she has a BA in International Relations. This is a degree along the line of basket weaving, woman's studies, etc. These are degrees given to people who were not smart enough to pass higher math, science, or language classes. Do a little research on the internet and you will come across articles like the following: "She took 12 credit hours in economics, in classes like "Economics of Less-Developed Regions," as part of her international relations degree. "I have a degree in economics" is another example of AOC's pattern of compulsive lying. https://t.co/MKDGqnwYz1 — Donny Ferguson 🗽 (@DonnyFerguson) April 1, 2019 Well, that bears a little snooping. So I hopped over to Boston University’s website. A BA in Economics at BU requires 32 credit hours in the core curriculum which is standard for most majors. There is no offering in the department for a dual degree in Economics and International Relations. The only one offered is in Economics and Math. There is an option for a minor in Economics with seven additional classes. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is a VERY LIBERAL information organization. Do not believe everything you read.

Whatever her worthless degree is...she is a nitwit of the first order.

I actually wrote to BU and told them that, if AOC did get a degree in economics, they should ask for their degree back. I have a Ph.D. in economics and taught university econ for years and would have flunked any student who made economic statements as dumb as she has.

Imagine: BU never wrote back.

I’m waiting for her to recommend that people have to buy, not yet created, electronic stamps from the Post Office to put onto their e-mails in order to send them.

My dentist went to BU. Many of the dentists here in New Hampshire did. I think it is one of the better dental school in the country. I give him a hard time about how his Doctorate in Dentistry better be worth more than AOC’s degree in Economics. It gets him riled up.

He was the one who told me she DOES NOT have a degree in Econ. That it was actually in International Relations. Which is a made up major for dumb kids with rich parents.
Similar to degrees given to basketball/football/hockey players.

I think I took a couple economics classes at Syracuse when I was there. Does that mean I qualify for a Econ degree?
I also took Calculus I & II, and Statistics. Does that mean I should also have a math degree?

If AOC’s Green New Deal succeeds, the proposal of “pen pals” will prove that she’s a visionary.

With no petro/coal available, wind and solar will force most people to return to writing each other via snail mail.
