Reasonable people do not form majorities in the city limits of these cities. They can't get change by voting it. It is submit or leave. More and more the mob will be encouraged by the Bosses to trample conservatives and conservative enclaves. Chasing out business makes less sense for the long term vieẉ (longer than say, ten days) because most business act as cash cows for the city government and being THE big fish in a rapidly shrinking puddle would seem to be a less than desirable goal but that is only for people who can see beyond bed time.

A few years ago DC was hiring ex felons and putatively ex druggies to its police force in the name of anti-discrimination. I don’t know if that continued but I bet people just quit talking about it.

No, they shouldn’t - they should get themselves elected to their city government. Time we started taking over.

I dunno if its time yet. There’s a rise, but cops and citizens will need to be assured city leaders have their backs. They don’t right now. And if the public doesn’t wake up to this anarchy, I wouldn’t stay either. All the media does is blame whitey, and the pathetic incompetent democrat leaders look for a scape goat - the cops.

I know a guy in Michigan who left the force a week after qualifying. He was in an “iffy” town, and he figured there was too much of a risk that an “incident” could occur and he would get thrown under the bus. Now he works at an auto parts store biding his time until he is ready to retire. Their loss, his gain.

I would add that more than likely a majority of those cops in the anarchy zones are staying simply because of financial concerns for themwelves and their families.

And for those who still believe in “Protect and Serve”, God Bless them, but if things don’t change they too will loose the service motivation and start planning their departures.
