Dutch & Belgian Medical Professionals Recommend Prophylaxis & Early Treatment Protocols With Hydroxychloroquine Against Covid-19

A new initiative called “Zelfzorg covid19” (selfcare covid19), originating from the Netherlands, but with some Belgian (Dutch speaking) support, was launched online on May 8 and updated on July 23. It is now becoming internationally known.

Zelfzorg covid19 was initiated by Dr Rob Elens, a general practitioner in Meijel, with lots of experience in tropical diseases, including malaria, who was the first to use an hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin & zinc therapy, similar to the Zelenko protocol.

There was immense push back by the authorities, who threatened to withdraw his licence and right to practice medicine. He had accordingly to stop using hydroxychloroquine when treating patients.

He developed the initiative along with an entrepreneur, Evert de Block, who is especially concerned about the lockdown and its economic and social implications.

On the website, it’s mentioned that in practice, the effects of supplements “appear to be sufficiently great to prevent or extinguish (mild) Covid19.”

Instead of asking people with covid-19 symptoms to stay home, just having fluids and paracetamol, these doctors recommend an early treatment protocol, that includes supplements such as quercetin and zinc.

Bromhexine, a derivative of the Adhatoda vasica plant, used in some countries for the treatment of various respiratory diseases, is also included.

The inclusion of bromhexine is based on the results of an Iranian randomized (!) clinical trial, which concludes on “the efficacy of early oral administration of bromhexine hydrochloride in the reduction of mortality of patients with COVID-19 disease.”

Like for hydroxychloroquine-based early treatment protocols, the idea is to contain the replication of the virus in the first days after the infection.

A prophylaxis regimen is also recommended, with quercetin, zinc, vitamins C & D.

There are currently 133 initiative supporters: 67 medical doctors, both general practitioners and specialists, and 66 paramedics.

The Netherlands, like many other European countries, have either prohibited or severely restricted the use of hydroxychloroquine. In Europe, only a few countries, such as Portugal and Greece, have been using HCQ on a significant scale.

Also to be noted that the prophylaxis regimen that is recommended by this initiative is similar to the one we brought to covexit.com readers attention in June.

I knew I could get treated with this Hydroxychloroquine

As long as factions in the CDC and FDA are blocking my getting treatment, it leaves me hiding in quarantine.

Don’t worry much about HCQ not being available.
The reason why HCQ works is because it is a zinc ionophore - it lets zinc into the cells, and the zinc stops the virus (and malaria, and lots of other viruses) from replicating. That’s why it is important to take it as soon as symptoms appear - you stop it dead in its tracks before it can do its true damage, which is setting off a cytokine storm in your body (where your immune system kicks into such overdrive to kill the virus that it kills YOU).

There are other zinc ionophores - with quercetin being one of the best known, highest quality (for a natural substance) and best studied. It is about 1/3 as effective as a zinc ionophore as HCQ is, meaning that you probably need to take your zinc with about 1200 mg of quercetin to equal having the 400 mg dose of HCQ that is usually taken on days 2-5 of the treatment (Day 1 has double that). But this is only if you have China virus symptoms. Note that it is safe in doses as high as 10,000 mg/day. It is found naturally in onions, apples and capers, but not in huge quantities - you need to use supplements.

I take a mixture every other day from Life Extension Foundation that has 1000 mg of C with 15 mg of highly bioavailable quercetin (equivalent to 250 mg of what you usually buy in the stores), plus 50 mg of zinc. I wear a mask when in stores and wash my hands, and thus I’m not worried much about exposure - so this preventative dose is IMHO sufficient for me, since if I was infected, this mixture would go after it from the first moment, not starting a few days later when symptoms presented.

Simple solution to the pandemic,,,,Make HCQ and Azithromycin OTC drugs so anyone who develops a cough and/or fever can go the nearest drug store and self medicate with the drugs along with Zinc Sulfate with correct dosage within 48 hours of symptoms and pandemic over.,,,,,instead of waiting a few days to get tested and 5 days for the results,,,,if over 60 years of age,,,,you’re dead.
