How F.U.B.R. is the Biden Campaign? They send me unsolicited email under wrong name

Before I begin, FUBR = Fouled Up Beyond Repair. I don't like the other 'F' word.

I guess the Biden Campaign 'Top Officials' are based only on having an NAACP card, membership in Planned Parenthood, or being involved in LGTBQ+, or being a trans-sexual.

My first name is 'Chris', hence my first name is Chris-topher. 'Topher' is my Freerepublic handle.

I have been dumped on by the Biden campaign - I never solicited their emails - I guess they just like to dump on people.

The only email I received from them addressing my first name was they thought my first name was 'Maria'.

I wonder if I can complain to the FCC about this dumping on me...

I've been getting them too. They have my name right.

I've suspected that one of my (former) clients who is a Democrat and had personally sent me some DNC propaganda had given them my email address.

But how would I know for sure?

I was actually tempted to participate in one of the focus groups I got invited to, but opted against it. Why suffer the aggravation of it?

Does your email client have the ability to block addresses?

I use Thunderbird and put email addresses in the Message Filters to delete these emails.

When I check my email it may say, “You received 5 messages,” but only 2 show up in my inbox. The other three have been automatically deleted and trashed by my having the email address in the message filters. Sure enough, if I check the trash folder, there are the 3 deleted emails.

This is a great, time saving ability. I used to waste my time using the “delete me” link at the bottom of these emails. But I learned pretty quick that doesn’t always work. Using the message filters always works.
