One thing that was discussed yesterday was the motivation behind the lockdown. Some of the motivators behind it are: 1. Desire to control others, 2. Politicians needing to appear to be doing something, and 3. Big pharma trying to stop herd immunity because they want to sell vaccines. This is all fueled by media fear porn. It is amazing the degree to which a population can go off the rails with idiotic policies as we have done with Covid lockdowns. Reagan said every generation would need to fight for its freedom - we are having our fight now.

Heck, I'll go you one better. The City of Edmond, OK's mask mandate is set to go into effect on August 26. It was voted on and approved by the City Council around 2 weeks ago. Why schedule a mask mandate A MONTH IN ADVANCE? It was originally set to expire on Sept. 8, but then they had another City Council meeting that extended the expiration to October 12. Makes NO sense at all.

My youngest grand daughter is moving to State College, PA for her freshman year, but we have good friends that have a large house a few miles outside of town so she will have good oversight and help {I hope no help is needed}.
I they ever get back to college football, our friends have wonderful tailgate parties at the house {so I don't go and sit in the cold}, but it won't be this fall.
