Can I Sue Twitter in small claims court?
Vanity | 8/9/20 | Me (vanity)

I’ve had two experiences in Kentucky Small Claims Court over the last 24 months. 5/3 Bank and Home Depot attempted to bully me into accepting shoddy workmanship and a bait and switch loan snafu. I sued both in small claims for the maximum of $2500. Before I could plead my case for damages both settled out of court for $1500 and $1300 along with making right the original problems. Perhaps they would have prevailed before the judge but would have lost due to expense of defending themselves. If Twitter sells ads to conservative businesses, then limits the ads’ exposure by massive shadow banning, etc. isn’t Twitter taking away something of value to me. Does massive shadow banning of conservatives negatively affect a guy advertising MAGA hats in Twitter? $60 to sue here in my home county. I’m not sure what the cost to get service would be ( local $30, adjacent state $50). Imagine a million $500 plus court cost individual small claims filings against @Jack and crew.

If you have to ask that then maybe you aren’t the one to be suing :-) you can take a company to small claims court if they do substantial business in your area.

And have a valid reason. You would lose.

Not sure about Twitter, but having the knowledge on how to sue a large company without an attorney has worked out well for me on several occasions.

It will cost them at least $10k just to get an attorney to show up. Mention how you will bury them with demands for discovery, and they will settle real quick for the damag E s they owe you.

Twitter definitely does business in my area. The time I waste every day checking each person I follow (hundreds of hours per year) are my damages. ONLY conservatives are shadow banned, only conservatives’ time is wasted in this manner. If Twitter ignores it, I’ll be awarded judgement and court costs. If Twitter does respond by going to court and wins, I’m out filing fees but @Jack has to send a lawyer to rural Kentucky. That would be the ultimate victory for me. What effect would it have on Twitter to find 5000 small claims suits against them that must be defended. We could just wait for the DOJ to force Twitter to stop screwing conservatives.
