Just started the fourth season of Justified. Really good show. A couple weeks back I remembered Miami Vice and did a search to see if it was available. Yup. So a couple of times I would watch an episode or two of Justified and then an episode of Miami Vice. Gotta stop doing that. After watching Justified it makes Miami Vice kinda sloowww. But then Miami Vice is from 36 years ago. But I'll watch it after I'm done with Justified.
It's awesome. I've never seen horsemanship like that onscreen anywhere
My favorite character was Dewey Crowe.
This is a great scene:

“Give up this Nazi shit and go back to poaching ‘gators. It’s safer.”
I ended up watching Justified only after I became engrossed in DEADWOOD, also starring Olyphant.
I think I watched Deadwood 3 times in total.
I love westerns!
Just to clarify, Ozark is on Netflix. It is a great show. The first and second episodes are gripping and will suck you in.
Wife and I are also watching Justified. We have watched all but the last season. We are saving it since we will be sad when it is done.
Longmire is excellent also. I am almost done with season 2 and really like that show.
We would like to watch Yellowstone but we don’t have cable. I was going to pay for the level of Peacock which has Yellowstone but Peacock is fighting with Roku so we don’t have access at this point. The Paramount service is too pricey to subscribe to for just one show.
Watch “Justified” and you’ll want to have a shot of bourbon. In fact, I think I’ll have a shot...NOW!!!
That WAS a great scene. I hadn’t seen it before. Great show all around.
Sorry about that mix-up on Netflix for Ozark. It had been about a month since I finished the series. :-)
Kevin Costner earns his spurs in Yellowstone. A similar tough as nails character he plays in The Highwaymen on Netflix. It’s not a western but a Bonnie and Clyde story told from the viewpoint of the Texas Rangers.
I am a big Costner fan. I’ve seen the Highwayen three times. Great period film with no PC bulls**t in it.
I read an interview with Costner a while back that said that they filmed the ambush scene at the exact spot where it actually happened. He said it was kind of eerie there which I can certainly imagine.
