(CNN)Oprah says her latest book club pick "might well save us." So the media mogul is sending 500 copies to the nation's governors, mayors, CEOs and college professors. The book is "Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents," written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist Isabel Wilkerson. Oprah announced on Tuesday that it was her latest selection for her long-running book club -- and that it was the most important one yet.
"This is a book for all of humanity and it is necessary for people who are leaders in our country to understand the origins of our discontent and what caste really means," she said on "CBS This Morning," adding that she was sending the book to leaders across the nation. "Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents" examines race in the United States as a social hierarchy, with African Americans confined to the bottom. The book defines racism in the country as an American caste system, comparing it to social hierarchical systems in India and Nazi Germany.

Oh, so that’s what the piece of crap book I saw on our friend’s coffee table tonight is about. Since she and her tolerant Leftist friends absolutely LOVED the “tell-all” book written by Trump’s niece, I should have figured it.

If African Americans (or do they want to be called Black again now?) are at the bottom of American society in 2020, then it’s time they look in the mirror and figure out why.
America has bent over backward to help them. Many times a black person displaces a white, Asian, Hispanic, Indian or other non-black person through Affirmative Action or quotas.
There is no public facility they cannot enjoy, no business whose services they can be refused, no institution of learning which will turn them away, no job for which they can be denied due to skin color.
Why then are so many of them living in poverty?
Black culture that vilifies education as “acting white”. Black culture that teaches them from birth that white people are evil and the root of all they problems. Black culture that celebrates rap artists and millionaire athletes as the only ticket out of poverty. Gangs that fill the void in fatherless homes. Women who choose single motherhood as a career choice.
It’s not White Privilege. It’s Black Culture. And only the black community can address that.

Oprah has more money, fame and power than 99% of white people. What is REALLY her problem? Did her parents not love her enough? Too much? IS she unfulfilled as a woman? Does she feel guilty for being rich? Does she hate white people? Does she secretly wish she could be white? What is wrong with her, that billions of $$$ and tons of food and makeup that she still feels less than white people?
