Former WWE star Marty Jannetty, known as half of the Rockers duo with Shawn Michaels in the late 1980s and early 90s, raised eyebrows and maybe a police investigation when he said he made a man disappear when he was a teenager.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Jannetty detailed the alleged encounter, which he said took place when he was 13 and living in Columbus, Georgia.
Working at Victory Lanes bowling alley buying weed from a f-g that worked there .. and he put his hands on me, Jannetty wrote. He dragged me around to the back of the building ... you already know what he was gonna try to do.
Jannetty, now 60, said that was the very first time I made a man disappear."
They never found him ... they shoulda looked in the (Chattahoochee) River, he wrote.
Late Wednesday, Jannetty called into the Boston Wrestling Show and claimed self defense.
If I couldnt havent handled myself, that dude would have raped me, Jannetty said. He gently fondled me and went, whats this?
Jannetty said he tried out of the car and the other man got angry, then jumped out of the car, went around to the passenger side and grabbed me by my hair.
The man then allegedly dragged Jannetty behind the bowling alley and tried to pull his pants down.
I cant say he deserved to die, but he deserved to get his a-- beat, Jannetty said. And, when I was beating him in the head with a brick, I was only trying to beat his a--, I wasnt trying to kill him.

And that’s what happened to Corn Pop.
Is the next revelation that he’s continued to make men disappear as part of the Clinton mafia?
Wait, is he saying he deleted all the mans social-media accounts?
Paddle faster, I hear banjos....
AND un-friended him if he was really feeling mean.
The first rule of “Shoot and Shovel Club” is you never talk about “Shoot and Shovel Club”...
I always heard, “Shoot, shovel and post on Facebook”.
He missed the “Shut Up” in the SSS.
you gotta keep your mouth shut, or you will answer to more than just your maker
I have bowled in that bowling alley (recently renamed Bowlero).
Columbus is a military town (adjacent to Ft. Benning). That is the wrong place to try something like that. If the 13 year old didn’t make him disappear, his old man would be more than capable of doing it, and not much weeping over a deceased pervert in 1973 in the deep south.
If you’re going to do something illegal, don’t spill the beans to a reporter in a desperate attempt to remain relevant. Save the confession for the memoirs published posthumously.
Justified!!
When is his ‘Medal of Freedom’ ceremony?
the very first time I made a man disappear.”
Would that not imply that there are other times?
Or that he chose a career path as a magician after that.
Would that not imply that there are other times?
That's what I was thinking. There's a difference between saying "I once made a man disappear" and "the very first time I made a man disappear."
OMG seems like even the most basic of ideas are lost on some.
Just because you own a shovel and know where the edge of town is down by the RR tracks.......
Talk about letting the cat escape from the bag. Some stories can’t be kept, even if it is known only by one person, alive.
I wonder how much fallout there will be over this little SNAFU?
