Where did catch it?
We were looking to move to Northern California at one time, around Crescent City. One big Advantage there would have been fresh salmon, right out of the river. I love salmon and it is so expensive now, I’m wondering if we should have even though Sacramento is nuts.

Motorcade pulled out of West Executive Avenue at 10:33 am, en route Joint Base Andrews for trip to Lake Charles, La., and Orange, Texas. POTUS will “survey storm damage and receive briefings on emergency operations and ongoing relief efforts,” per tweet yesterday by Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere.
Pool was preloaded into vans, did not lay eyes on POTUS.
It’s raining - remnants of Hurricane Laura.
Travel pool was covid tested earlier this morning.

Good morning. Were your ears burning last night? My son's girlfriend is having a house built that is an open plan. Sounds much like your friends house. She mentioned that she'll have a porch all around her house. So I thought....
think about a big porch. But it will make the inside darker so you'll need to add light.
My suggestion would be skylights in the kitchen and family room.(don't let anyone tell you not to because they leak..BOLOGNA...a good roofer knows the exact protection to place on your roof before the final step and how to really secure and protect your skylights from leaking. We have two large ones in our family room and love them!
Do you have any salvage shops near you..antique shops..churches with old stain glass in their basement or stain glass restoring shops there? Purchase a long framed glass art or a few small and hang them dividing your dining room and family room. Make sure you place your NEW ceiling lights(dining room and family room..near the stain glass art. So don't take away from the art so put flat lighting near on the ceiling on both sides.
Down from the stain glass work have glass shelving(wood if your husband insist) place glass wear of the top and then (books..vinyl records...your choice of memorables)
The unit could be on wheels as to be able to move it.
Off your kitchen make it a glassed in porch you could use as a green house. It would really bring more lights into your kitchen and give a beautiful place for herbs and flowers. Sitting out there would be beautiful.
