Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly ready to call it quits on her show amid mounting pressure and a storm of negative publicity around toxic workplace allegations.
According to the Daily Mail, the host, 62, has told executives at TelePictures and Warner Bros that she’s had enough and wants to walk away.
“She feels she can’t go on and the only way to recover her personal brand from this is to shut down the show,” a source told the publication.
“The truth is she knew what was going on, it’s her show. The buck stops with her. She can blame every executive under the sun – but Ellen is ultimately the one to blame.”
Staff at her show have also hit back at the apology letter she sent out this week, branding her a “phony” and claiming anyone who complained to her about the ongoing issues “would’ve been fired”.
“Don’t think for a minute anything she has said in that apology means anything. She created and then enabled this toxic culture to go on for so long,” one staffer said.
“If anyone had come to her or those three (executive producers) to complain, they would’ve been fired.”
“Inside Telepictures we’ve had enough of her. She is a phony who does not practice what she preaches,” another source told Daily Mail.
“The behaviour of her show executives has been appalling, but (Ellen) is no better. In fact, she is the worst. It’s outrageous that she is trying to pretend that this is all a shock to her. The fish rots from the head, and Ellen is the head.”

She was much funnier before she ‘came out.’ After that, she always unconsciously has a chip on her shoulder, like pervs always do.
I personally think she’s got a screw loose or two in a weird, hidden sort of way.
Thats a thing with homosexuality in general. Its more than just physical. There are many not quite right mental aspects to the defect.

“I don’t even like to look at her” -—I know exactly what you mean....Probably twice in my life I caught the opening and middle of her show, the part at the opening where she comes ostentatiously bopping down the aisle separating two halves of the audience, dressed in the usual self-consciously skin tight thoroughly Asexual garb, which was yet supposed to be an advertisment for her “sexual freedom”. This is way too much “cognitive dissonance” to process in one sitting. Real lesbians don’t have to present themselves that way. Look at former Lib Tammy Bruce on FOX. Ellen’s weirdness, ( and I just discovered it a minute ago by typing out my response to you) is precisely that she’s Asexual.
What a great sitcom that would make! I’m trying to think of a name. And who would star.

Yeah, men don’t dress like that, not even male homosexuals. Ellen’s outfits are very strange, like a little boy’s done up by “handlers” for the purpose of a photo shoot. Ellen actually comes across as not sexual at all, Asexual in fact.Coming out as a Lesbian was obviously something that suited her, and the “zeitgeist” ,but proved to be tiresome and insupportable in the long run.
