Well, he may have been in Loudin, but I didn't see Booba Walice and his BLM car.
But I did see Brad Keselowski take, not the checkered flag, but rather the US Flag, as he won the race today. I kind of liked seeing the Stars and Stripes going around in circles, amid all the smoke, engine winding, tires screaming, as he did his victory donuts in front of the crowd.
Then he climbed out and stood up on his window sill, holding the Flag high over his head.
We all grew up hearing from great baseball announcers say that baseball is “America’s Pastime”.
George Kell, Ernie Harwell, Vin Scully, Bob Costas, Bob Ueker and dozens of others in the HoF.
MLB, Inc. is no longer /America’s/ pastime.
It is the pastime of 13% of the population.
Let them have it.
TV sportsball can’t survive on 13% ratings.
