Pa. Health Department Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine started her daily coronavirus response briefing Tuesday with a response to the “multiple incidents of LGBTQ harassment, and specifically transphobia directed at me, that have been reported in the press.”
A Tioga county tavern recently apologized for a menu item that mocked Levine, who is a transgender woman, while a Facebook post about a fundraiser at the Bloomsburg Fair featured a male wearing a woman’s dress and a wig. The post suggested that it was a Levine impersonation.

It is actually the duty of folks to make fun of their government officials. Because by doing so it takes them down a notch, and reminds them that they are not royalty.
If Dr. Levine can’t accept that, then he/she shouldn’t have accepted a government position.
Harry Truman understood this. He once warned his staff not to concern themselves over criticism about their appointments. Then he said:
“I’ll stand by you but if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.”
Dr. Levine is a chromosome denier(tm) and refuses to “follow the science”.

If there’s anyone hurting the acceptance of transgenders in PA, it’s a prominently positioned transgender Secretary of Health who has been tested in a crisis and shown him/herself to be wholly incompetent, but despite the overwhelming evidence, refuses to step aside or improve.
Arbitrary and capricious decisions affecting vast swaths of the state, implemented with little to no notice or even evidence that the policies and rules were even discussed with anyone else. Petty vindictiveness against Lebanon County, claiming pretzels and beer doesn’t make a meal, it’s endless and Gov. Wolf either loves the disaster or doesn’t have the balls to stand up to Dr. Levine either.
This insane SOB is a dead-beat dad and not even a real medical doctor. He belongs in a mental institution.
He should be tried for mass murder for that nursing home fiasco...whadda POS.

That guy is a nut. Who the heck put him in charge of the health department?
Like Cuomo he forced Long Term Care facilities to accept infected patients knowing full well that the didn't have the personnel, training or equipment to isolate and care for them.
But he took his mother out of one at the start.
Over 4,800 people, or 70% of the deaths in PA were in these facilities but closing bars, gyms and businesses and crushing them were his priorities.

When will Dick Levine apologize to all Pennsylvania’s for acting like a Tyrant. When will Dick apologize to all the Pennsylvanians who lost loved ones in nursing homes due to Levine’s mindless orders to send Covid-19 patients into tight quarters with our most vulnerable? When Dick fesses up to being a moronic idiot who has do idea what it is doing, then we can “talk”. Stop playing the victim Dick! You are a murderer!
