From here on, according to past statistics, white shark sightings will increase here on a daily basis thru OCTOBER.
As more people at the beaches get shark phobia they will spend more time looking out at the Ocean and spotting more fins.
Commercial net fishermen who accidentally catch a white, will think twice about the legal requirement to report the white shark catch. Dialing that number to report inadvertently taking a white shark is like dialing; 1-800 -SHUT ME DOWN.

I haven’t paid much attention - has this been a slow storm/hurricane season so far?
I have a feeling I recall a season some years ago where there hadn’t been any real hurricane action, and shark sightings were more numerous.
@Plymouth_Harbor crew investigating a white shark sighting at White Horse beach were able to catch this amazing video!! This is a confirmed tuna in about 11’ of water just off White Horse Beach. Beach is still closed for the earlier confirmed shark sighting.

The sharks training is to look for black thing rolling around in water. A seal
They will only attack what they think is a seal. They don’t want us at all !
Again their training is for dark shiny moving

Today Thursday August 6th, there will be a lot of white shark sightings.
Why? Because Dr.Greg Skomal is out tagging white sharks and has a spotter plane up. (Wayne Davis).
The State Police are also up, doing a shoreline cruise looking for seals and sharks.
There are others out lookin for white sharks, and plenty of eyes on the water.
So far today , Aug. 6th, beaches at Newcomb Hollow-Le Count Hollow-Maguire Landing,-Nauset -Head of the Meadow-White Crest in the Cape Cod towns of Truro- Wellfleet- Orleans -Eastham have been temporarily closed do to white shark sightings.
Strangely right now ,a spotter pilot told me there are about 20% of the seals in that Cape Cod area that were present a few months ago??

Thanks for the ping...I will say, though...calling it “Shark Phobia” doesn’t sound quite right...
I know, I am probably more likely to be hit by lightning or something like that than be eaten by a shark, but anyone swimming in New England waters these day with all these giant sharks around should generate a rational fear of an attack, intentionally by the shark or otherwise!
I know they would probably prefer a nice, blubbery, tasty seal than a stringy, bony human, but...still!
