I Loved that show.
I knew conservative “intellectuals” who wouldn’t watch it.
Something about the decay of our culture.

I only watched a single episode when it was on television, but I didn’t watch much television back then so I wasn’t ignoring it. (It was the episode when they had a French female foreign exchange student living in their house...:)
All these years later, I still grin at that!

I do like the show. As for the decay of culture, that is somewhat true. I doubt our current culture will ever produce someone as brilliant as say James Madison(Father of the Constitution), or Thomas Jefferson(Writer of the Declaration of Independence). Thankfully the founders were born before the invention of television.
