They are worried about tourists coming from virus hotspots

There won’t be that many posts. New York can’t be blamed this time :-)

Well I’m sure some will figure a way :-)

When I went to Jackson Hole with my dad in the mid-‘80s, we were warned if we saw Harrison Ford to leave him alone, don’t ask for autographs, don’t even approach him. I guess if you feed the animals, they’ll get used to humans and keep coming around. We laughed about that for years.

Same thing going on in our rural tourist area. Huge crowds of people from big cities.

Went there in March 1994 and was skiing by myself.

Jackson Hole is totally awesome.

There is a reason the Federal Reserve holds annual meetings there. :-)

Lots of the rich and famous have houses there. Even rumors that some lizard people hide out there when they get tired of wearing their human costumes.

There's a live camera pointing at the intersection with the elk antler gateways. It was a hot spot a few years ago. Lots of people texting into the stream whenever a Red Truck appeared on screen.

Translation: How dare the unwashed masses come to Jackson Hole and disturb the privileged, elitist liberal politburo who have divine right and sole domain to any space they demand.

I dirt bike seriously year round. Group rides, camping etc.

Due to Covid, people have cabin fever and want outdoors. It’s sometimes like a holiday weekend x2.

Local and domestic tourism is hot! Anything with the outdoors is sold out.

Same here...Some of the people are afraid they are bringing the virus with them...Everybody crowding in restaurants,no masks,no 6 feet apart...In our town ,it’s like the virus doesn’t exist

We’re slammed, social distancing went out with the little dictator’s mask mandate. Can’t wait for summer to be over for people to go home.

Remember the old license plate game? Swear I can find all 50 in a day this summer which is mind boggling.

The covidcation. Full time vacation. It is amazing how many people are not working and still getting paid, full pay mind you.

I don’t see how this can continue or why it should.

No kidding. Rivers, golf course, campgrounds, etc. are all packed. Hope they do go home.
