It is nearly impossible to id a firearm by the audio collected on ordinary video.
It could be done if you have a sound signature to start with.
What is said here is just speculation.
There is good evidence he never fired the AK clone.
And all you’re doing is speculating. So?
“It is nearly impossible to id a firearm by the audio collected on ordinary video.”
Not quite true. You can always tell a Taurus because when the trigger is pulled there is only a small click heard.
***He did not fire any shots. ***
Some may say that the AK wielder should have been allowed the first shot, before being shot down. And what if that first shot had killed the driver?
If someone is pointing an AK at you they are not trying to shake your hand.
Doesn’t matter if he fired or not, he was a threat and deserved to be killed.
While I've spend very little time listening to "the audio collected on ordinary video", I can assure you that what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long time in Vietnam, skills that make me able to readily distinguish between AK fire and 5.56, pistol rounds, 12 ga. , etc.
Have a nice day!
