***He did not fire any shots. ***
Some may say that the AK wielder should have been allowed the first shot, before being shot down. And what if that first shot had killed the driver?
If someone is pointing an AK at you they are not trying to shake your hand.
If someone is pointing an AK at you they are not trying to shake your hand.
I am not saying the driver was not justified.
I do not think a Texas grand jury will indict him.
I am saying the guy with the AK did not fire any shots.
That is what the police are saying.
The police seem to be doing their job, as hobbled as they are by the Austin government and Mayor.
The police department in Austin has about 2,643 personnel and a budget of over 400 million dollars! Brian Manley is Chief of the Austin, Texas, Police Department. He leads a department of 2,646 sworn law enforcement and support personnel who carry out police operations within the City of Austin, as well as the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, city parks and lakes, and municipal courts. With an annual budget of $402 million, APD serves Austin’s diversified population in the 11th largest city in the United States. The APD is a data driven and intelligence led policing organization focused on the tenets of Community Policing.
The Austin population is 2.275 million. Much larger than I thought.
It is a big city!
