Two New Jersey gyms owners who have repeatedly reopened in defiance of the state’s coronavirus lockdown have been arrested, police said Monday.
Atilis Gym owners in Bellmawr— Ian Smith, 33, of Delanco Township, and Frank Trumbetti, 51, of Williamstown — were charged with contempt and violation of a disaster control act, according to the Camden Couty Prosecutor’s Office.
The two owners have continually railed against Gov. Phil Murphy’s executive order amid the pandemic COVID-19 and even sued lawmakers claiming their constitutional rights were violated when they were forced to close their South Jersey gym.

Where are the good cops? You never hear from them although they are supposed to be the 99.9999% according to talk radio show hosts.

Discovery is going to be very interesting.
The gym I go to was fined $10,000 by Jay Inslee in WA for being open during covid. They did close for 2 months, then reopened with strict rules, limiting capacity, and they have not charged any members since April. We’ve been going for free since the opened mid May.
So far this is the only fine I’ve seen levied in WA, so I don’t see how it will hold up in court.
Why again are gyms closed but other establishments are allowed to open?

I honestly don’t know how the people who made this arrest could look at themselves in the mirror.

They’re not looking in the mirror.
They’re looking at their pay stubs, pension and benefit plans.
And siding with the people who sign their checks, not the people they take an oath to serve and protect.

It’s the unions. The unions protect the bad cops and undercut the good ones, because it’s all politics with the municipal unions (be they cops or teachers).
We're being given advice based on political calculations and not health or safety factors.
When you give these democRAT wannabe tyrants enough leash, they are going to be picking winners and losers, based on politics and NONSENSE.
Their goals are multilayered but they include removing Trump from office, putting the fear of death and illness into the population, destroying the booming economy, ruining people's livelihoods, and burning down our major cities to compound the disaster.
All of this because they've got nothing else to run on. They're sure as hale not running on that loser Biden. They want to blame it all on Trump and ride in on their white horse to save everyone and cement their communist ideology into the country.
It's sickening to watch this when you know exactly what they are doing but our Republican leaders are either with them or sitting on their thumbs afraid to hurt someone's feelings.
The exceptions are Trump and a few conservative legislators but all the rest are anti-American traitors to the American people.
