Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his wife, Mareva, met Saturday with two famous recent Greek citizens.
Mitsotakis published in his Instagram account the above photo, with Hollywood actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson showing their newly-minted Greek passports. “@ritawilson and @tomhanks are now proud Greek citizens,” Mitsotakis wrote..
The meeting took place on the island of Paros. Wilson, who is partly of Greek descent, and Hanks have long owned a house on the nearby island of Antiparos.
I forgot, we had a president with dual citizenship.

While the ordinary American/Greeks can not fly to their country to visit family members or attend funeral of family members (my friends family member passed and she wasn’t allowed to go because she has American passport) but mr Privileged TomHanks and wife got in Pouting face

Per the Greek Embassy in Washington, D.C., U.S. citizens residing in the United States are banned from entering Greece for non-essential travel, which includes tourism, unless you have an EU passport or meet one of the very narrow exceptions detailed in their posted information

Nah, I think they’ll remain in the USA. I know Hanks is quite visible during Holy Easter Week at St. Sophia’s in Los Angeles where he is one of the men who carry the Epitaphio on Good Friday.
I’ve been to 2 Naturalization Ceremonies. During the ceremony you renounce the citizenship and allegiance to all other countries. Then you take the oath of allegiance to the US.
I don’t know if it’s the same for other countries. The concept of a dual passport should not be allowed. I know several people that have two passports, mostly with Canada. I tell them that they violated their citizenship oath. They just don’t care.
I checked and it looks like the US does have a mutual extradition treaty with Greece.

I disagree. It is emergency equipment. The person who has it is rarely getting it to become loyal to the country. They are getting it for other reasons.
He has met the basic requirements to be stripped of his US citizenship.... and should be.

Please remove the film featuring atom Hanks at the USWWII museum in New Orleans. I wanted to throw up listening to that antiAmerican blowtoad narrate the film. It’s a film about real men making real sacrifices for ALL AMERICAN LIVES. But Hanks has to narrate and parade before the cameras. And now I find out he is a citizen of another country?!?!?
