UIL volleyball is scheduled to start up in late September. I usually make about $7,500 over 3 months reffing H.S. volleyball in the fall. Missed almost all of the club season this year, which is about $4,500. Fortunately, we don’t depend on the money for living expenses. My wife and I are both retired and we are saving a little over $1,000/month. We aren’t rich, but live comfortably. Eat out 1-2 times per week and we increased our tipping from 22% to 30%.
Saved a lot of money by not needing toothpaste the last four months.

We are now conditioned and trained for the next phase. What is the next phase and the phase after that? It probably involves police going into our homes and the government doing horrible things. But as long as the government doesn’t take away my icecream, my alcohol, my pot, I’ll be okay with it.
Maybe at some point it will become clear. But then it will be too late.
