Nearly all the apartments are leased by the tens of thousands of H1B Indians. It’s like Calcutta. And as soon as they get here, the first thing the wives do is give birth to anchor babies. They totally take advantage of immigration laws.
We are the biggest suckers in the entire world.
Our experience has been the opposite. My bet is the proximity to the city accounts for a lot. FWIW. :-)
I work outside of KOP. I’m closer to Downingtown which is full of the same type.
I read Vanguard(Malvern) is firing 1800 employees to move IT to India.
If we don’t do away with H1Bs, maybe we should limit access to the program to rural areas of the US. It would encourage biz to relocate there, and people to assimilate since anonymity is hard to come by. :-)

We’ve been to your neck of the woods. KoP Mall and Valley Forge are the only reasons we go. It’s way too built up for my comfort. High population densities give me the willies.

I’m outside of Philly as well, Glen Mills area. Where are you talking about the large Indian population? I know Delaware has quite a few because of the banks and pharma companies, but was not aware of any concentration in the Philly area.
