One band I recently discovered, back from the early 90s is “Lush”, back when they were more “Shoegaze” than “Brit Pop”.

I believe you are right. Lonesome Dave and Price both died in their fifties.

I suggest Enrico Rosenbaum’s GYPSY, one of the great bands you probably never heard of. Their music was top=shelf; but they were from Minneapolis, and were poorly marketed.

While a well known name, Glenn Campbell was really not appreciated as the accomplished musician he was

I never got Rory Gallagher. My guitarist liked him, but I didnt see anything in his songs. Fair enough. It is all subjective anyhow. From what I've read, Rory was asked to audition for the Rolling Stones, so some can conclude he was a great talent.

Oh, I so agree.
Music has healing power. I’ve turned away from cable news. The TV mostly filled with travel videos, the stereo filled with music of the spheres.
My anxiety level is significantly decreased.

Is that Susie Quatro? I loved her music. “Stumblin’ In”, maybe?

Also Roy Buchanan was asked by The Stones to audition. He turned them down. Saw Roy in 1973. He just stood still on stage wearing his turtle neck and spanked that plank like he knew what he was doing.

Also Rod Price lead guitar for Foghat was a hell of a slide player. I saw them three different times back in the 1970s. I was a Foghat kinda guy. Do you still have your Fog Hat?

While Dave Brock is a brilliant hippy flake, Lemmy became a rock God with Motorhead.
I think Brock and company threw Lemmy out on the road naked, high on acid in Canada.
The rest is history

O saw tHe Outlaws love with Molly Hatchery and .38 Special in 1979, and they were awexome. They never had the commercial success of The Allman Brothers or Lynyrd Skynyrd, but they were a great love band.

Loved the ‘Bang’ album. Some good ol’ rock ‘n roll on that! Actually saw then at the old Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City after ‘Miami’ was released.
