More than a dozen workers sued Whole Foods after the grocery giant allegedly punished some of them for wearing “Black Lives Matter” face masks on the job.
The 14 workers in four states say staffers were sent home without pay, formally disciplined or even fired for donning the masks in solidarity with the nationwide movement against police brutality.

GOOD! Welcome to reality. You serve at the pleasure of your employer not the other way around...having said that I fully expect whole foods to cave any minute.
And if they win - MAGA masks and Blue Lives matter masks for everybody.
They should simply have been fired.

I wonder how many people actually know what they are standing in solidarity with? I had a knock down drag out with an extended family member this weekend. Led him to their website and everything and he continued to tell me it was not about anything other than black lives being taken by police brutality. Oh, and I’m a racist.

That’s strange considering Amazon owns Whole Foods and the CEO hates this country.
I’m sure that it is spelled out clearly in the Employee Handbook. They ought to be thankful they didn’t get fired for pulling a stunt like that. Now they are suing? Lol.

Sounds like a planned law suit because they wanted money. I expect there to be many more someone put them up to it thinking it was a good idea.
