The Boston Red Sox made a very visible statement of anti-racism Wednesday as they put up a huge Black Lives Matter sign on an exterior wall of Fenway Park.
The sign, which says "Black Lives Matter" in large letters followed by the Sox' logo, faces the Massachusetts Turnpike and directs viewers to the Red Sox Foundation website for more information.
On the website is a statement on "Social Justice, Equity and Inclusion" from team President and CEO Sam Kennedy posted last month in the wake of the major protests over the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and others.

Considering the teams owner (who also owns the Boston Globe), I’m surprised he hasn’t had it mowed into the pattern of the outfield grass at Fenway Park.

The drop has already been happening for over a decade, long before the Virtue Skidding. This Social Justice Warrior (SJW) nonsense is the signature of a downstream attempt to squeeze as much money out of a dying medium (television) as they possibly can.
The sick money counters in the professional sports are bastardizing other causes for their own financial interests.
Folks, don’t worry. The Red Sox organization is so screwed...and the funny thing is, they did it to themselves. That sign is no where near big enough, based on current BLM standards(which, admittedly subject to change without notice). Red Sox Nation can expect to be the subject of a huge backlash.
