“All these oversize golf karts are really, one trick ponys with high acceleration, once. Then back for an hours long charge, after minivans humiliate it on the way.”
You really don’t know what you are talking about.
No one asked you golf kart boy.
“not much call for race cars that can go only 75 miles on in a major race ... well, except maybe drag racers ...”
If you didn’t post we would not know of your ignorance.
“No one asked you golf kart boy.”
Anyone that post with ignorant bias is asking for a response!
high acceleration,: True
once.: False
Then back for an hours long charge: False
My golf cart:
Wouldn’t a 57 kilowatt motor be the equivalent of 76 horsepower?
“Wouldnt a 57 kilowatt motor be the equivalent of 76 horsepower?”
1. You misread
2. The article was not proofread
3. The OP should have sourced one of the many more detailed and. better written articles.
I do believe there are lots of excellent reasons to invest in Ford.
“Ready for the 24 minutes of Le Mans.”
Many races are short duration races. 25-35. minutes.
Gymkhana and autocross are very short. Drifts are not endurance events.
This car is primarily drift prepared.
Interesting, thanks.
The writer is a total moron with no concept of physics or engineering. 57kWh capacity would make sense with regard to a battery.

I am thinking the author designated gave an underling a copy of one of the original articles telling him to rewrite it.
Oooh, so impressed with what you bought yourself?
You go berserk at anyone laughing at electric golf karts, but will not drive one? Just like all the geezers with 911s, Corvettes, trying to impress, someone.
” Full time grouchy olde farte now.”
Well said.
“You go berserk at anyone laughing at electric golf karts, but will not drive one?”
Wrong.
“Oooh, so impressed with what you bought yourself?”
Jealous?
“Just like all the geezers with 911s, Corvettes, trying to impress, someone.”
My wife picked it out.
Looks like they’re using it as a drift car (Vaughan Gittin is a Ford factory drift driver) which makes sense because a drift car needs high torque and doesn’t need long range.
I’m not a big electric car fan but I don’t hate them. They wouldn’t work for my 50-mile commute, once the coof is over and I actually start going back into the office (four months and no end in sight). But if people want to overpay for them, hey, you be you. I can appreciate the beautiful insanity of something like this Mustang.
