Who were the greatest song writing duo's of all time?
Quite frankly the 1st time I met Stiv Bator I was horrified, The last time I saw him he was a dick too, but I drank beer with Brain James and Dave Treguna who were nice guys, and despite Stivs shtick he was a hell of a rocker.
When I 1st met him He hijacked a show by local band called Laser
Just walked onto the stage and grabbed the mike from the lead singer and went crazy, we were all like WTF?

Kris Kristofferson and himself.
Richard and Karen Carpenter.
Boyce and Hart. Come to think of it they weren’t that great but did allot of stuff. They were also on “The Flying Nun” and “Bewitched.”

I was going to add Boyce and Hart to the list myself. The boys from AZ Wrote songs performed by the Monkees and a lot of others and helped define the 60’s LA pop sound. The closest they came to performing a hit themselves was “I Wonder What She’s Doing Tonight.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJaYbQ9nYfM
I remember them performing it on Bewitched at the Witches’ Cotillion. :)
Got that wrong- Boyce & Hart performed “I’ll Blow You a Kiss in the Wind.”

The songs of that particular team were ghostwritten by Raposo and Moss.

George McGranahan and Daniel Webster Whittle teamed up around 1878 to write dozens of great Christian hymns. Other great postbellum hymn-writing teams included Fanny Crosby and Howard Doane and Walter and Civilla Martin.
