***Did you really cover the Moon Landing?***

I flew down to Florida and covered the liftoff for the Apollo 11 moon lander. Since no news orgs were sent to the moon for the landing, I covered it like everyone else: NASA via our news operation in NYC. I just rolled tapes on the NASA feed 24 hours a day; I was a tech. :^)

Your Apollo 11 experience is awesome.

I was 10 years old. Watched the landing on a color TV, but if I remember, the video from the moon was crude and in B&W. Still....

My favorite quote about the moon landing being fake was that Stanley Kubrick was the one who filmed the fake moon landing, but he was such a perfectionist he did it on location.
