I was 10 years old. Watched the landing on a color TV, but if I remember, the video from the moon was crude and in B&W. Still....

For the benefit of those to young to know why this was such a big deal. . . it was the first time in the history of man anybody had gotten a look at the surface of another world. It was just an incredibly mind blowing accomplishment.
