Victuals is the proper word, “vittles” became the Americanized slang pronunciation. General term referring to food. Still in use at times when I was a kid.
Don’t ask me how the instrument properly named “violin” eventually became Americanized into “fiddle”...never looked that one up...

Here’s what I would love to see. A special LE unit, maybe 500 guys, 6-2, 250 or better. Dressed all in black, body armor, helmets with dark face shields and armed with 6 foot quarter staffs and side arms. Better yet if the helmets had wings. Would be called the samurais. No mercy. Beat them til they can’t move. If the pukes have IDs get them and then pay a visit to their parents homes and beat the f*ck out of them as well for raising such pieces of sh!t.
