Shalva Zalfreund, the kindergarten teacher who died Friday of coronavirus, had warned of the dangers of reopening early childhood education centers before her death.
In a letter to someone who seems to work with the Clalit health fund, Zalfreund wrote, "In recent days, I received several phone calls from official sources, according to which it seems that I was infected in the kindergarten."
"You certainly saw that I wrote in the past that I am asking for people to take responsibility, since I am in a high-risk group. And now - it's happened....It was to protect people such as myself that these rules were made."
"Unfortunately," she added, "there were those who preferred to send their child...
"For me, it already doesn't matter who infected me and who violated quarantine. I had open miracles, and the fact that I am writing to you at all right now is not to be taken for granted. But I am begging you, and I am asking for the sake of the grandmothers and grandfathers, neighbors and older cousins who surround us - they don't deserve to die! Even if they have one pre-existing condition or another.
"I am not blaming anyone, G-d forbid," she added.
Turning to parents, Zalfreund added, "It's true, quarantining a small child is not a pleasant experience, but it is over within a maximum of two weeks. You can find a lot of reasons and excuses for why you don't really need to keep the quarantine. And in one second you can be true partners in saving lives. You can educate your children in mutual responsibility, respecting others, and protecting lives."

I remember when quarantine meant the infected were isolated, not everyone else. Do we all run and hide when a dog without a rabies tag bites someone, or do we put the dog in a kennel and wait to see if it develops rabies symptoms? If she’s high risk, why was she teaching a classroom full of children?
Why oh why would an at-risk 64-year-old deliberately place herself among kindergartners, the most germbaggiest of germbags in the world?! Even if COVID didn’t exist, WHY would you subject yourself to potential illness and on a daily basis?

this is why we hate you mandatory mask phuckers. you blame everyone else for risks you decided to take. isolate yourselfs if you believe you are high risk. i know people who haven’t left their houses since late march because they’ve decided the risk is too high. they are following their consciences about what risks they are and aren’t willing to take. the rest of life is going to be out there.
and phuck you for blaming other people, you could touch a surface and pick it up. you could already have it and wearing your dam mask, inhale it back into your lungs deeper.

Yep among other things. What I want to find out is what part did they play in spreading this virus around with China? It worked a little too convenient in democraps favor don’t you think? It immediately stopped Trump rallies, destroyed the economy - which was Trumps main accomplishment, and now they have these protestors who for some reason are going completely over the top with these protests for no real logical reason other than to make Trump look bad further. I really think all of this is planned by them, except they made an error: They thought the virus would mass kill on a larger scale and would last well to the election, except it didn’t, so now they are doing everything they can to make people think it has.

Keeping young children at home is harmful. Keeping the at-risk elderly in the classroom is bass-ackwards. You should have been at home, socially distancing, and a 25-year-old should have been teaching in your place.

Heck even if you stay at home you are interacting with other people. Even if it is just picking up the box of food they left outside your door.
