People should not be camping during this deadly pandemic. If you’re going to be stupid enough to leave your house and visit the sun, you should at least wear a mask and stay 6 feet from the sun at all times. Solar distancing is everyone’s responsibility. The ‘UV Rays Kill Covid’ conspiracy theory is intended to trick people of color into seeking refuge from the disease via a quick jaunt to this largish yellowy-orangey orb that has no effect on climate. Nothing could be less safe, during a pandemic. And if you’re on the sun camping or hiking, for God’s sake don’t drink the water there without a UL rated water purification/filtration device. Carry out what you carry in. It is illegal to burn your trash and toilet paper on the sun as a means of disposal.
