METTAWA -- A Highland Park woman has been charged with battery in connection with yelling at a man in a store, claiming to have COVID-19 and spitting in his face, police said.
On June 16, 2020, Lake County Sheriffs Deputies were dispatched to a retail store in the 25900 block of Riverwoods Road, Mettawa, for a report of a battery.
Sheriffs deputies said a 50-year-old man was in the process of exiting the store when he removed his face mask.
After the man removed his face mask, Elizabeth H. Mach, 45, of the 500 block of Vine Avenue, Highland Park, rammed her shopping cart into the victims cart, police said.
Mach began yelling at the man that he needed to put his mask back on, as he was not yet outside of the building. When the man ignored Mach, she continued yelling, I am a schoolteacher and I have COVID-19. March removed her face covering and spit into the man's face, police said. She then went to her vehicle and drove away.
Sheriff's detectives were able to identify the woman and on July 8 obtained an arrest warrant for Mach for two counts of battery and one count of disorderly conduct. A judge set the bond amount on the warrant at $40,000. Sheriffs detectives arrested Mach at her residence without incident.
Mach posted 10% of her bond in the evening on July 8, and is next due in court July 29.

... of the man and our children’s minds.
I posted last week, that my wife and I, siblings across the land, friends from coast to coast, small business owners in person and on the internet had discussed this mask insanity issue. We decided that the Karens and the Howard Hughes were approaching dangerous levels re their mask insanity.
So most of us have ordered cheap throw away masks to wear so, not to trigger these Insane Ma$kholes. We keep them in our vehicles, and our wives carry a couple in their purses from them and us.
AGREED!
“I’ll get you my pretty, and your little dog too!!”
The businesses will provide them to you for free. :)
Sounds as if she needs to be committed for a full 2 week (at least 2) psych workup.

Her best defense would be to say she was trying to recreate the episode of Happy Days where Fonzie coached Richie how to pick up women in a supermarket by crashing his cart into theirs.
My wife, and an RN for decades. Does not want anyone messing with our masks besides us.
She would say, “How do we know if the employee giving out the masks has not had bad day with customers/bosses.?”
Tell someone you have the virus and then spit in their face?
This beotch is lucky to even be alive.

bb - it's in Lake County. Everyone knows where that is.
Wonder if she’ll send a thank-you letter to XiNN and MSDNC for hypnotizing her into losing her six-figure teaching job...
