Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. And apparently, all ages. Case in point: Bridger Walker, a 6-year-old boy who jumped in to save his 4-year-old sister from a dog attack at the cost of his own safety.
The attack left him with huge bite marks and bruises. Bridger underwent two-hours of surgery and sustained more than 90 stitches, according to his family. Asked by his father why he jumped between his sister and the dog, the family quoted him as stating, If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.

That, or “Toxic Masculinity.”
Chris Evans is a douche and all the celebrities are of course jumping on board now to look good because their publicists advises them too. Otherwise, nice story about this kid saving his sister.
Not mentioned at all: What kind of dog was it? Who’s dog or was it a stray? Was the animal captured/ put down later?
German shep mix, according to other articles.
One brave kid. Anyone who sees fault in this has a hole in their head. Or needs one.
The kid is going to need monies for ongoing plastic surgery repairs.
Lots of money.
I guess I’m old, I was thinking Patrick McNee and Diana Rigg.
Evans may be a douche but he’s always done good work visiting sick kids in hospitals since he landed the Captain America gig, so I’ll give him some credit for that rather than assume it’s just a cynical ploy.
chicks dig scars. Especially when they hear about how he got these particular scars.
If the kid goes to public school, no doubt the leftists, feminists and Karens in the bureaucracy will work hard to extinguish any of the boys natural male tendencies of responsibility, aggression and strength,
One article I read said the boys parents appreciated the offers for a go fund me page to help, but asked people to instead donate their charitable offers to wounded warriors or another group that helps wounded veterans.
They also know the owners of the dog and that they were and are friends and dealing with it together , bringing them even closer.
Pretty awesome kid (he apparently said he figured if someone had to die it would be better if it was him), being raised by what looks like a great family.
A tragedy being handle with grace and class instead of lawsuits and money grubbing.
Quick, Chris: what’s the kid’s name? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Bet your publicist knows.
This kid is a true hero and should be acknowledged when he returns to full health.
He also has very good namesakes. I don’t know if it was intentional but Bridger is not a common name and makes me think of Jim Bridger one of the countries most famous scouts in opening up the West. And Walker as in Texas Ranger Walker.
The kid is named after hero’s. He had no choice. It is almost in his genes.
Send money to his go fund me page, if any
Brave little boy.
Hope he grows up to do great things.
(WTH is wrong with Apple that when I type in the word “brave,” it turns to “grave.” Interesting. Must be a TOXIC word.)
Betcha all those Hollywood Avenger celebs wouldn’t be saying a word if Bridger had saved his sister from a BLM protestor/fascist/anarchist.
