Joel Skousen urges President Trump to take action against phony testing

At last he pulled the reporting from the corrupt CDC.

I think he is figuring that out by bypassing the CDC as a report data collection agency

William F. Buckley: "When you subsidize something you get more of it, like illegitimacy and cheese" and apparently pandemic.

It's must more deep-state crony capitalism.

Who would have thought. Corruption in shutting down the economy. Cui bono?

Oh, yeah, great idea. Let’s stop all testing, stop any attempts to control the virus, and just let it spread like wildfire and kill off millions. Sounds fantastic.

I agree. end the testing. investigate the testing.

Zeke Emanuel, on Biden’s coronavirus task force, is one of the authors (the authors are not listed at the link to the 55-page report, but you can download the full report from the right-hand column at the link and check the full list of authors).

16 Jul: StatNews: U.S. must spend $75 billion to fix flawed Covid-19 testing, report says
By Matthew Herper
The U.S. should invest $75 billion in order to fix its badly flawed system of diagnostic testing for Covid-19, according to a bipartisan committee of industry experts, investors, scientists, and former federal health officials assembled by the Rockefeller Foundation.
“America faces an impending disaster,” the foundation’s panel warns in a 55-page report (LINK) released Thursday. “The extraordinary scale of the Covid-19 crisis is evident in the growing deaths and economic losses the pandemic has wrought in every state.” The report adds: “This terrifying tragedy was not and is not inevitable.”

The report, which includes among its authors several former commissioners of the Food and Drug Administration and a who’s who of researchers in pandemic preparedness and diagnostic testing, suggests several steps for improving the U.S. response, including a dramatic ramp-up in different types of tests. The Rockefeller Foundation is also committing $100 million to the global coronavirus response.

Rajiv Shah, the foundation’s president, said he could point to “half a dozen, maybe three dozen” other countries, including South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, Iceland, and Germany, that have done better than the U.S. by using widespread diagnostic testing to identify people who are sick early and better control the spread of the virus...
...Paul Romer, a report co-author and the co-recipient of the 2018 Nobel Prize in economics, estimates shutdowns cost the U.S. economy $300 billion to $400 billion a month...

The same committee previously suggested that the U.S. develop the capacity to conduct 3 million diagnostic tests a week this summer and then reach 30 million tests a week by October, when flu season will begin. But the experts said it is now clear that the rate of testing must be ramped up even faster, employing multiple strategies.
One major problem is that even though U.S. laboratories are now conducting 4.5 million Covid-19 tests a week, many patients are waiting seven days or longer to get test results. This makes the tests almost useless...
The U.S. will need at least 5 million PCR tests a week, with results returned much faster than they are currently, said Michael Pellini, a venture capitalist at Section 32 and a report co-author...
“There has been no plan and there is no plan, and that is the danger,” said Pellini...

Instead Trump came out again reiterating this week that if he hadn’t completely shut down the economy when he did, millions of Americans would have died from Covid.

That’s a long ways away from stating what really has been going on. Is he witting or unwitting in his parroting of the official Fauci/CDC line?

Well there you have it. Excess deaths in the US have dropped to zero. In most of the world it is zero, or under zero - other deaths are not happening because of CV shutdown.

I am all for continuing to maintain appropriate public health measures such as reasonable social distancing, protecting NYs elderly population from a murderous governor, etc. But....

This is just corruption at this point. And a few folks benefiting are costing us the entire travel industry, a lot of small businesses, etc.

Skousen reminded me that Trump re-tweeted someone who said it was phony ... so he is aware of whats going on.

Skousen wants him to come out and declare the thing over. Here it is:

seems to me that if President Trump floated the idea that the Attorney General is going to Investigate the ChiCom Flu records and official reporting to make sure of it’s accuracy and remind everyone that FALSIFYING GOVERNMENT RECORDS for Profit or Gain is a FELONY with a Long Prison Sentence, and ANY and ALL False reporting will be PROSECUTED, I bet the numbers would change drastically overnight.

EVERYTHING from China (at least the PRC) should be suspect! We (and the world, generally) are at war with the CCP, or at least the CCP is at war with the world! I cannot guess at how many tens of thousands of government bureaucrats, politicians, business leaders, journalists, etc. are bought and paid for by the CCP.

Just talked to a friend this morning. He went in for a free COVID test Being done at a local community center. Did the paperwork and then went to the line. He waited for a while and was told it would be several hours, so having no symptoms he decided it wasn’t worth it so he left. A week later he got his test results (that he didn’t have) in the mail and he tested POSITIVE. He also said there were some lab employees who experimented by opening the testing swabs, and sent them in......they came back positive.

Just heard almost same story from a friend. Her nurse friend sent off 3 tests that had not been used. They all came back positive.

Our Gov has put in mandatory masks until 7/31. I only wear mine while working my part time restaurant job and thats all I plan to do...

The problem now is we have geared up this testing monster like a doomsday weapon. Unless you know someone involved in one of the various sites or reference labs doing the testing you may have no idea how much money and personnel has been directed into this fiasco and at an increasing rate. We have so distorted the medical service industry now that everything is virus related, pushing aside almost anything else.
