Buckingham Palace launched its first ever gin on 13 July, and within just eight hours it sold out. The Royal Collection Trust, a department of the Royal Household, created the premium small-batch London dry gin from natural ingredients sourced in the grounds of the royal residence. The Buckingham Palace Gin is infused with 12 botanicals, including Hawthorn berries, as well as zesty lemons, verbena and mulberry leaves.

From "Gins is Sin" to a Royal branded gin. You have come a long way gin. My favorite gin is Bombay Sapphire with the Queen's great-great-grandmother (?) on the bottle.

Why do I think the profits won’t be going where the article says they’ll be going...

There is a complicated way charles gets his expenses paid. Dont remember the details but has been criticized.

He needs more money now that he is paying for hapless halfwit and his joke of a wife

Considering the Epstein problem the House of Windsor has, the Harkles may not be the only thing Chuckie’s paying for...

The profits probably will go to the Royal Collection Trust. I think the ticket sales to exhibitions at the palaces (which they can’t have this year) go to the same or a similar account for the upkeep of Crown properties. You know they are going to sell a lot of this gin!

What he claims as expenses is where it gets sticky..and the tax deduction of it

So he could try to backdoor harrys security costs which have nothing to do with the Duchy.

He gets away with a lot but i think the polo ponies was one that went too far

Their biggest line item is probably “Miscellaneous.”

As a side note, Queen Elizabeth II and her mother's (Queen Elizabeth) favorite drink is the Gin and Dubonnet Cocktail:

2 parts Dubonnet
1 part dry Gordon's Gin
1 slice of lemon

Place Dubonnet, Gin, and lemon slice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Give it a good shake, strain into a cocktail glass, add a few more ice cubes and garnish with a lemon wedge.

The queen's mother (Queen Elizabeth) drank the same recipe but with equal parts Gin and Dubonnet, four of them a day by most accounts (and was rarely completely sober as a result). Though it apparently didn't do her any harm as she lived to 101. Queen Elizabeth II takes it a little easier, having one a day at lunch and going 2 parts Dubonnet to 1 part gin to reduce the alcohol content further.

“My favorite gin is Bombay Sapphire.”

Yes, I like that, as well. I also like Boodles.

If we are talking about Andrew, he is Charles' "spare" as his younger brother. Anyone who thinks that Prince Andrew is an aberration in the British Monarchy does not know their history! Lots and lots of closeted scandal, which keeps the ink flowing!

That’s where they say it’s going.

But money’s fungible.
