Frozen fish does not make for good sushi or sashimi...............
LOL!!....................
I live in a middle class (maybe even upper middle class) surburb...very left wing...and we just got a Wegman’s a year or so ago. They have an entire section that has nothing but sushi type stuff.I avoid that section like the plague but the rest of the store is excellent!
From eating raw seafood.
Ive heard of living rent free in somebodys head, but geez...
I saw a TV show where a woman had a worm in her eye.True story, not fiction.
.
Gross!!!!!
Is she hot?
Perhaps it is better fresh, but almost all sushi served in the US is previously frozen. If a US sushi chef told me it was not ever frozen I’d figure he was lying and never trust him.
If you go to the main seafood market in Tokyo you will see tuna, among other fish, coming off the boat already frozen. They have an interesting auction of frozen tuna carcasses early in the morning.
This report explains why the Japanese and Chinese are so slim and trim.
An old neighbor of mine had to travel to the maquiladora area at the Texas-Mexico border. He decided to eat at a sushi place one night, and was sick as a dog for a week.
My question to him was "what made you think you could get good sushi in Mexico?"
Cub’s manager Joe McCarthy to notorious boozer, Hall of Famer Hack Wilson: “Hack, get in here I want you too see something. (Puts live worm in a glass of booze, worm croaks). Well, did you learn anything by that Hack?” Hack: “Yeah, If I drink I won’t have worms....”
Can’t imagine it has anything to do with eating raw food. Out of all food cultures in the world, the Asian area without a doubt is the most savage/prehistoric food culture around. Yin-yang fish is a prime example, it is a live fish with it’s body deep fried and served still gasping for water across it’s gills. Not to mention their belief that rhino horn increases fertility, shark fin soup is good, and the rest of their “delicacies”. In my opinion rice and peppers are Asia’s only contribution to the food world.
Good thing she wasn’t on Arrakis. Those worms are friggin’ HUGH and SERIOUS !
Hate it when that happens..
Before I clicked on this thread I wondered if she had eaten sushi...
People who ingest sushi tend to have much higher instances of intenal parasites.
But there is a solution. Diatomaceous earth will eliminate any parasites, as well as do a pretty good job of cleaning out the intestinal system too. Has been used (safely) for years, not expensive, and no side effects I know of, just don’t use more than about one tablespoon a day.

Use FOOD GRADE ONLY... do not... I repeat DO NOT take industrial grade DE internally. Industrial grade is often used in pool filters.
Would I be amiss to assume the doctors then used their scalpels to prepare a little impromptu sashimi meal? “Nurse, wasabi and soy sauce, STAT!”
Ginger? I love her too. But let’s forget about Gilligan’s Island for a minute...;)
(At least on a Japanese outdoor/hunting channel I sometimes watch on YouTube (”virtuovice”) he only uses soy sauce and wasabi on fish he pulls fresh from a stream, IIRC...”Hello, knife people” LOL - an acquired taste, but so must be sashimi...)
