Tammy Duckworth was born in Bangkok, Thailand, the daughter of Lamai Sompornpairin and Franklin Duckworth. Her father, who died in 2005, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. Her mother is Thai Chinese.
She is NOT an Article II eligible Natural Born Citizen. She is a US citizen at birth by virtue of the Immigration and Naturalization Act, due to her US citizen father. She MAY (I do not know for sure) hold Thai citizenship as well. I know that owing to 8 years of the Obamanation, this matter is mooted in many people’s minds. However, the issue has never been adjudicated by SCOTUS and all of their previous rulings on the nature of US citizenship would seem to decide against her Article II eligibility to be POTUS.

She’s a Veteran who was wounded in combat just like thousands of others and I give honor to her for that, but it stops right there. She has since tried to profit and abused that honor. She has placed herself on the same stage with people like John Kerry who was a insult to those of us who served and especially those of us who were wounded in combat. The respect I normally bestow to those who served and those wounded and lost in combat I cannot show for her. I know some true hero’s, I fought and bled beside them. She is not one.
