The implication is almost, not yet, “Unlike my neighbor across the street.”

The signs are spreading in my town.

I am tempted to put up the names of white people killed wrongly by the cops, the names of black children killed in this violent upsurge.

They matter too.

They all matter, but how do you get your foot in the door with bigots?

I live in a wealthy neighborhood and I see the exact same things. All these virtue-signalling lawn signs. You rarely see them in working class or middle class neighborhoods that are more...diverse.

Like you, I think the people who put them up are phonies. Hate DOES have a home with these people. All you need to do is ring their doorbell as a Trump supporter and see what happens next!

Well, I learned to drive on a motorcycle in Jamaica Plain (cobblestones, trolley tracks, and Boston Drivers).

My first license said “MOTORCYCLES ONLY”
