In 1985, Michelle Obama presented her senior thesis in the sociology department of Princeton University. Although Michelle drew no such conclusion, the thesis is a stunning indictment of affirmative action. Those who benefited from it, Michelle most notably, may never recover from its sting.
Her thesis reads like a cry for help. "I have found that at Princeton no matter how matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me," she writes, "I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as I really don't belong."
She didn't. Michelle should never have been admitted to Princeton. Thanks to the "numerous opportunities" presented by affirmative action, however, Princeton is where she found herself. "Told by counselors that her SAT scores and her grades weren't good enough for an Ivy League school," writes biographer Christopher Andersen, "Michelle applied to Princeton and Harvard anyway." Sympathetic biographer Liza Mundy writes, "Michelle frequently deplores the modern reliance on test scores, describing herself as a person who did not test well."
She did not write well, either. She even typed badly. Mundy charitably describes the thesis as "dense and turgid." The less charitable Christopher Hitchens observed, "To describe [the thesis] as hard to read would be a mistake; the thesis cannot be 'read' at all, in the strict sense of the verb. This is because it wasn't written in any known language."

Any article that refers to that thing as a woman has already lost me. Until the Ellen Degeneres workout video can be believably explained, ‘Michelle’ is a big black dude with a penis and TESTICLES.
Black Jive Matters.
LOL!! Classic!
Would love to see some of the BLM street murals changed to that!!
It's amazing how being dumb and not testing well go hand in hand.
I remember reading that paper. Stunning, to me, that one could write a senior thesis about one’s own selfish sadness. The paper is a joke - it is all about Michelle’s personal feelings.
It also robs minorities who actually earn their way to the top of respect for their accomplishments since people will usually assume they are only where they are due to AA.
And here I thought the tranny operation screwed him up.
Narcissism is hard for anyone except the narcissist to understand. In her case, the admiration is misplaced.
My brother lives in a college town and sends me links to articles by all the “black” undergraduate and graduate vandals and interlopers.
They all have, or are working towards, completely worthless degrees:
African American studies
Native American studies
Women’s studies
Mass communication
Creative writing
Sociology
Theater and Dance
and so on
It’s a State school, but these young adults are from states far away. I wonder if they’re actually paying “out of state” tuition rates. How much debt are they acquiring?
Since COVID happened, and the school went online or otherwise shut down, these losers have nothing to do as a lot of businesses near the campus shut down. The losers march around town, almost nightly, intimidating the local white leftist NPR listening hippies.
WE ARE FUNDING THIS. One way or the other. A lot of people say Soros is funding some of this, and that may be, but the subsidies to higher education for worthless degrees, and allowing kids to become massively indebted to get them, is a crime against the taxpayers.
No students at Columbia had Obama in any of their classes. His voice, height, and skin color would have been noticed immediately. He was accepted at Occidental as a foreign student, and into Harvard due to a $10 million gift from the Saudi Royal family.
Years ago, there was a Libertarian writer who said the same thing. He went to Columbia, same time period, same major -- never saw Obama. He said that he had asked other members of that class/major and none of them ever saw him there either.
Michelle got into Princeton and Harvard Law not just because she is black, but also because her daddy was a politically connected Alderman in Chicago.
I read her Princeton Senior Thesis. She would have gotten a ‘D’ in high school composition class. I temporarily lost about 10 IQ points after reading it; but I recovered.
She was hired by a big Chicago law firm after graduating from Harvard law, and was told she needed to leave the firm because of her substandard performance after 2-3 years. Same for Barack, who was at the same firm.
Hitchens was actually being kind in his assessment of Michelle’s writing ability.
I remember when Obama was first running for POTUS. The media was falling over themselves to talk about how intelligent he was and he was a great speaker.
Well, I will find interesting articles to read to my hubby, and there was one where Obama was frequently quoted.
As I was reading the excerpts from Obama's book, my husband was looking at me like, "what did I do to deserve this torture?" It was terrible, he is a terrible writer. Also, he is a "great" speaker, if you like someone who is reading from 3 different teleprompters in a droning voice. Hubby always would go, "teleprompter to the right, teleprompter center, teleprompter to the left" whenever Obama was giving a speech. It drove him nuts.
I read someplace, at the time of his first run, that he was President of Harvard Law Review; but, he never published an article the entire time. The article stated that this is actually unheard of for a President of the Harvard Law Review.
He didn't earn his way onto the Harvard Law Review, much less into its presidency.
FWIR, the title of "President" is "reserved" for minorities, regardless of their legal prowess, while the position of "Editor" is theoretically performance-based.
That was Wayne Root who ran on the LP presidential ticket. I read his article at the time but don’t have a link.
It was really thin, maybe a dozen pages with lots of white space (HRC's was pretty dense, not to mention padded with "Doonesbury" panels at the end), and the only thing I remember is she appeared to be forcing whites to associate with blacks as demonstrated by a graph or two.
In letting MRO in, Princeton must have thought they were making up for WW's progressive racism. I'm sure there were more qualified minorities. (Had an Asian housemate that was a Princeton grad in engineering.)
