DeSean Jackson accepted an invitation to visit Auschwitz as he attempts to make amends with the Jewish community after sharing anti-Semitic quotes incorrectly attributed to Adolf Hitler on social media.
Holocaust survivor Edward Mosberg invited the Philadelphia Eagles receiver to visit the former concentration camp in Poland, according to Aaron Reich of The Jerusalem Post.

betcha he didn’t even go.
He needs to spend a month living under Auschwitz conditions. A bowl of slop to eat, a crude bunk bed to sleep on (if he can get one because of the crowding), work in the production facility for sixteen hours per day, no modern sanitary facilities just crude latrines, and never go to the showers.
This is a great idea. Maybe if I praise Mussolini on my Social Media I can go to Italy for 2 months to “learn”....
Well, at least he’s open to it. Now let’s see if he actually does it.
He will never be the same.

That's nice. We'll see when Americans are allowed to fly to Europe. By then the dust will have settled.
Not a big football fan, if he plays against the Redskins, he can just visit the Holocaust museum while he's there.
Good point. He wasn't the only prominent person to share it, some NBA player or recent player did as well and came to his defense.
I think there are a number of Jewish owners of basketball teams, if this is indeed a basketball player.
I know football and boxing only :)
I don’t think they were thrilled with the comment.
If they did indeed put pressure on him, GOOD.
The news says U.S. Citizens are banned from going to Europe.
He’s a football player. With the Philadelphia Eagles whose owner Jeffrey Lurie is........wait for it.......JEWISH!
boy now i really feel like an idiot
turns out i don’t know football players either :)
come to think of it, I’m a Jets fan and besides D’arnold, I can’t think of another name :)
My memory at 52 is horrific.
I know they lost that very good wide receive in the off season.
Name isn’t coming to me.
And yeah a Jewish owner isn’t gonna be happy with that and he should be angry!!
For a minute I thought they were talking about Jesse.
Do you really really think DeSean Jackson visiting Auschwitz will change his anti-Jewish beliefs? Hell no, instead it may give him ideas to implement the final solution towards anybody who does not look or think as he does.
One can hope the reality of the place effects him.
Although a dose of LSD and locking him in a warehouse of
shoes after a tour of the death chamber and crematorium
might have more effect.
All he has to do is take the Amtrak to DC and really look at the Holocaust Museum.
if he doesnt break down emotionally while hes there then in my book hes human only in body and nothing more.
All his “friends” who mouthed off about Drew Brees and said nothing about Jackson should be visiting as well.
He needn’t bother. The ashes of the dead do not need another anti-Semitic a@@hole to drop by for a photo op. I’m sure it would make it easier for him to get endorsement contracts, but that won’t do a thing for the ashes.
