Back in the day, when I was an educator for a Networking school, Fridays were “casual day.”
I had found a copy of the “Dilbert Tie” which had a bit of spring steel in it, so it would come up at an angle, just like Dilberts! It was hilarious.

Ive been in the corporate world since 1978. And without a doubt, Dilbert is a mirror image of how businesses operate. Scott Adams was a network engineer who worked for Pacific Bell in San Ramon, California in the 1980s. His material initially came from what was going on in that company, as it implemented the business fads of the day.
