The 7 train ends at Flushing. Quite a few homeless folks and people who are clearly insane on it.
Even before this current insanity, one was liable to get accosted or attacked by one of these crazy dudes for just looking at them or for no reason at all, especially late nights and early mornings.
New York is going to the dogs fast.
True. Some interesting characters have been riding public transportation for a long time. So many incidents I remember. Back in the day, though, we didn’t have cameras to record everything.
The 7 train ends at Flushing.
Pretty much applies to all of NYC under de Blasio.
(born in Brooklyn and escaped with fam when I was six or seven. I think they made a movie about it called "Escape From New York")
“New York is going to the dogs fast.”
The 7 train was the best previously. Now, as more and more “minorities” are using it, it’s turning to sh!t. Used to have no problems with Asians and Hispanics, Gays, Muslims,or whatever. (People who know how to behave in public.)
Plus we have a Democrat mayor now.People sleeping on the floors in Penn Station and all around it. 34th street, etc. It’s disgusting and sad.
Commuted since 1988 until 2019. Seen it all.
I will never step into the confines of that city ever again, except for a one way ticket out of JFK or LAG. I’m done.
Except that the Metropolitan Museum of Art is still really great. But I’ve been there probably about 50 times, anyway.
